The Course

The vision for creating the landscape and play of the game at Turtle Dunes represents a return to the early game of golf; where seaside dunes will serve as the grounds over which Tripp Davis, golf architecture's leading craftsman, has designed a strategic gem that flows with constant interest and variety. While there have been five sets of tees designed to allow all players to choose their level of challenge, each tee was designed to have its own unique sense of strategy and personality. It is truly a golf course where no one is left out with sets of tee boxes ranging from 5,000 yards to 7,200 yards.

Tripp’s comments about Turtle Dunes

"Turtle Dunes is the most gratifying project I have been a part of. Not only have we been given the opportunity, without restraint, to create a golf course that is strategically interesting for every level of player, which required more land to allow for multiple playing angles and strategic options, we have designed the site to restore a very unique sand dunes landscape. These sand dunes, which once dominated the coastline of the Diamante Peninsula, have been a significant part of my enjoyment in the project, and I am sure it will be a part of your love for this very special place." -Tripp Davis
